Description

The Pharmacy Tech II is responsible for preparing sterile products in accordance with NIOSH and USP 979 standards. Maintain Pyxis through refill and load reports. Triage phone calls coming into the partment. Maintain pharmacy inventory, including checking for expiration dates, rotation of stock, and proper handling of medications. Assists in orientation and training of new employees as needed. Maintain a flexible schedule based on pharmacy department needs. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Obtains and interprets cardiac monitoring data

* Documents and communications changes in arrhythmias
