Description

The Home Care Services Occupational Therapist is responsible for assisting physicians in evaluation of patients by providing occupational evaluations and functional ability testing. Develops Plan of Care based on documented findings, with approval of referring physician. Recommends and teaches the use of assistive devices and equipment to patients and families. Reports critical changes directly to Director of Clinical Services and/or attending physician. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

* Graduate of approved Occupational Therapy program..

* Minimum of one year experience.

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

* Current Florida Occupational Therapy license

* Current BLS
