Flexible Spending Accounts

A provision of the Section 125 tax law that allows you to deposit a portion of your gross income into a spending account.  There are three different types of Flexible Spending Accounts FHW offers:  medical expense (inclusive of dental and vision expenses), one for dependent care (day care) expenses, and one for adoption assistance.  You save 25% - 40% on federal, and FICA (Social Security) taxes on the money that you set aside.
